Ellen Ostrow, founder of Lawyers Life Coach LLC and a psychologist/coach who works frequently with lawyers, coached a woman to improve her business development. The woman was very successful at cultivating clients but had not taken on management roles in her firm.

Her Aha! moment came as she sat in a firm meeting. She realized she could approach her colleagues the way she approached her clients, Ostrow explains, by emphasizing the ways she could help and influence people. She has now taken on leadership roles both in her firm and in professional associations.
